Pippin is the female in the Adventurers sets. She is a journalist from America who at first seems to have some mild mystery around her. Like Johnny, Pippin is without family, but unlike Johnny it is by choice.
Pippin had abusive parents who were fully against her dream. She never even got a proper education. Hence, when she ran away when she was 17 she was completely lost. She wouldn't have made it if Dr. Kilroy hadn't found her crying and given her a hand.
Personallity
Pippin Read is a hot tempered woman who was abused by Robert Read and Jannease Read. She ran away at 16 and was crying on the side of the street when Dr Kilroy came and gave her a hand. Two years later her parents where killed by Baron von Baron.
Skills
Pippin is the youngest but strongest on the team. When she in a temper enemies had better watch out because she can pack a very powerful punch.
She also is keen on using her head, not just when writing but also for getting out of difficult situations. Pippin doesn't like being told what to do, and prefers to find her own way through things. Pippin also has learned to do amazing things with her camera and has very good memory.
Relations
- Johnny Thunder While she doesn't see Johnny as a brother the same way he sees her as a sister, she thinks of Johnny as a very sweet man. However, at first, she isn't sure how to react to his kindness.
- Dr. Kilroy When Pippin first came to Australia, it was thanks to Dr. Kilroy that she was able to stay and find a job. The two are quite close friends. If fact he was her very first real friend
