Mundane

Mundane is a term, taken from science fiction fandom that means, generically, someone who is not "into" the particular fandom that the speaker is into. The term Muggle is also used in this context (see muggles). Specifically, when used by an ALE it could mean anyone who is not a fan of LEGO, although there is the connotation of it being a person the ALE does not know well (contrast with NLSO).

Use of the term typically is not *meant* to be insulting, but can be taken that way by the listener so it may be a term to be avoided if any confusion may result.
