From Brickwiki
Indiana Jones is a licensed theme based on four movies featuring the character of that name in various adventures in the early 20th Century.

- Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom (1984), set in 1935

On June 18, 2007, Howard Roffman, President of Lucas Licensing and Jill Wilfert, vice president of the partnership and alliance management for the LEGO Group made the announcement that LEGO will begin manufacturing building sets based on the Indiana Jones franchise.1 At that time, both spokespersons referred to the success of LEGO Star Wars and underlined the fact that both Star Wars and Indiana Jones are creations of George Lucas. Ms. Wilfert specifically mentioned the appeal these sets may have for adult enthusiasts.
